The Tustin Unified School District recommends that you use a non-district issued personal computing device (PC, MacBook, Chromebook) for use at your selected testing center. TustinUSD issued devices employ certain security protocols that may limit internet access at other business/educational institutions (see Acceptable Use Policy) If you do not have access to a non-district issued device, you have three options.
- Borrow a Device from College Board
With 30 days advance notice, you may request a device from College Board. Please click here for more information regarding device availability.
- Submit a request to the Tustin IT Department
With 14 days advance notice, the Tustin IT Department can submit a request to the hosting school district to allow TustinUSD issued devices access to the internet on their network. As this is a request to another educational entity, there is no guarantee that we will be granted access. If access is granted, this will apply to and for all TustinUSD issued devices. Click here to submit a request (a mytusd.org email is required to access the form). Late requests will not be processed.
- Request a loaner from the testing site.
In most cases, the hosting facility with have loaners available from their IT Department. Once you know the hosting site, you can confirm with them if they will have devices available.
